Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs were both on (Bravo, I think?) this past weekend, and though I've seen them both, I watched parts of them to see how they were "edited for content." It almost seems pointless to edit a movie ridden with the F bomb, as you're left with constant silent gaps. I understand that it's not yet allowed on cable, but who really doesn't know what they're saying? Is someone out there really like, "did he just say 'What the foot is going on? That doesn't make sense!' "

I enjoy the part in the car referenced in the new signature. 'Have you ever heard the philosophy that once a man admits he is wrong he is immediately cleared of all wrong-doing?' (that may not be exact, but I'm sure its damn close, damn sure its close. Damn? Sure.) Also, 'I accidently shot Marvin in the face!' DAMN BOY. What the hell is wrong with you? I know. Other 'classic' movies I have never seen include Resevoir Dogs, Clerks, and Goonies. Ltrain: What?! You've never seen Goonies?! Me: No, I just said that. There are more that I just can't think of. I don't get out much. Now that I think about it, I don't stay in much either. Where am I? |

I know we're talking about good movies, but I saw a really good play put on by some of my old high school friends and a few adults from the local theater. It was Godspell and it was really damn good. And that's impressive coming from someone who doesn't like certain religions and also whom doesn't go to church. (and I need El to tell me if that sentence is even correct!)
