You know how currently Cicada bugs are taking over the universe?
Well I was minding my own business in my bedroom when I heard this loud, repeated buzzing and thumping against my window. So I turned off my light knowing that's what it was attracted to, and after a brief intermission, it continued the buzz/thump routine. So I was freaked out like it's Freddy Krueger outside my window, so I went over and started tapping on my window like I'm talking to the beast in morse code. To make a long story longer, it slipped in through the crack between my air conditioner and my window, flies across my room, thumps against the opposite wall and disappears. So now I'm in hysterics standing on my bed while screaming and ducking and checking my hair 30 times. Like, how was I going to kill it? A shoe would've made an ungodly mess and a tissue wasn't going to cut it. I didn't sleep in my room that night. I hope he died. I never did find him.
