David Bowie in the 'Labryinth' anyone? scared the shit out of me...how weird! Was that the one with Satan in it or some kind of wicked monster type thing? I think I have had this confusion with you all before with this movie and another. I loved Harry and the Hendersons The Neverending Story. The Nothing was frightening but not as frightening as the rock monster. The Rockbiter seemed to be far more eerie than the Nothing. That rockbiter thing, if I am not mistaken, was made of rocks, and he was biting other rocks as his food. That's cannibalism, my friends, and that is sick.

Yeah, man. OLD movies, from the '80s, like Pete said.
It doesn't get any older than that!

I am drowning in nostalgia reading all these posts. Well, most of them. Pete, you actually made me laugh with the Matrix thing. Adventures in Babysitting, Ferris Bueller, Harry and the Hendersons, Girls just wanna have fun, Neverending story, Wayne's World, Empire Records...yes! With a side of yes, please. Danesmodsux I just about died when I read Friends 'til the End. I used to sing that song at the end... "No I can't blame the rain..." I think I need therapy because I remember that. *puts paper bag over my head* I vaguely remember Labrynth with all these fraggle-rockesque dark characters and David Bowie breaking out in song throughout.
Does anyone remember Two of a Kind with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John? There were like angels and satan that came to earth and were stopping and rewinding time. I LOVED that movie. Anyone who remembers that movie is great and I love you. Thank you.

Ok, so no one remembers that movie so I am the only one who is great, and I love myself. (I'm the only one old enough to have seen it I think.)
I have more old cheesy movies to reference folks. Even if I am posting to myself. -The Golden Child (Eddie Murphy- "can I pleeeease have the kniiiife.") -Flight of the Navigator -Short Circuit -The Burbs -Can't Buy Me Love -Summer School -Coming to America ("My name is Tina, and I'm the best. All the DJ's want to feel my breasts. huh. *beatbox*") -License to Drive (Coreys at their pinnacle) -Flashdance (this is a cheesy thread, remember. JHo had nothing on the original bitch.) -Flowers in the Attic (incest at it's pinnacle.) -The Money Pit (Tom Hanks stuck in a hole in the floor...priceless.)

I LOVE you Sonshine...
More of my favorites: - Ruthless People - Footloose (his dancing was like I was being raped through the television. Whoa. Just...whoa) - Willow (Mad Martigan was my first movie hero, I loved that guy) - An American Tale: Fievel Goes West (I dont know if this is cheesy, persay, but I was a child and I loved it. 'we're a duo, it's true-o, a pair of lonely ones who were meant to be a two, oh a duo...')

I'll stand by you on Footloose, Julie. Whatever is Macha going to do with us posting back to back in the old movie thread?! It will just look like you posted 5 times in a row to her. HAHA Macha you confused wench, I love ya.
I am an 80's movie whore. -All of Me -Innerspace -Spaceballs -Beetlejuice -Lucas -Staying Alive (<--not a word.) -Mask (talks about Troy in his class btw.) -Planes, Trains and Automobiles -Raising Arizona ("you got a panty on your head son") -Splash -St Elmo's Fire -Ghostbusters -The Lost Boys

I think I need therapy because I remember that. *puts paper bag over my head* OK - now that I know someone else is as touched as me...I can admit this and know I will be accepted by at least one person...I tried looking for that soundtrack or the songs somewhere online to download!!
