Ok, my grandparents didn't have 10 small tvs about the house, and I didn't know Julia Child or her family, but this proves one thing about us. We can take the most off the wall topics and expand on them like nobody's business. I need to talk about Emeril. I change the channel, and BAM!!, there that rat bastard is, scaring the crap out of me with his spices and the like. Someone, someday is going to have a heart attack because of his sporadic tourettes syndrome.  |

Speaking of commercials, did you see the toothpaste commercial he's in? He scares his wife in bed with his exclamations. I think she died during the filming. Or she twitches now. One of the two.

Bad news to report, guys:
DIED: Jeff Smith, 65, whose Frugal Gourmet PBS show drew millions of viewers until a sex scandal forced him off the air, died in his sleep on Wednesday, after suffering from heart disease, his agent, Jim Paddleford, said. In 1998 Smith agreed to a $5 million cash settlement, mostly paid by insurance companies, to six men who accused him of abusing them when they were teenagers working at Smith's Tacoma, Wash., restaurant in the 1970s, as well as a hitchhiker who said Smith gave him a ride and molested him.

LOL, it's not like I sit around and google "Frugal Gourmet" all day to get the latest info. actually, i was sitting around reading People.com- as I sometimes do when one of the Olsen twins has a breakdown and I need the 411 to properly assess the situation - and I spotted the blurb about Smith, and the first thing I thought was, coincidence? I gotta copy and paste that shit!
