Friday, I went to see Dodgeball - pretty good for a few laughs. And also rented Euro Trip (HA!!) The writers included a commentary option where they created a drinking game to go along with movie - excellent! Love and Sex - hilarious fucking movie! The midget with the cheese sandwich? Dodgeball was fucking hilarious. I thought it was better than Old School. Espn 8- The Ocho? and Jason Bateman as the flaky announcer? David Hasselhoff as Hitler? Come on, those were priceless fuckin moments.

"Go Balls In" and "I don't bleed with my own blood"! Did you stay until the VERY end of the credits? "My milkshake is better than yours..." I haven't laughed so hard in quite a while.

I saw Troy...again. It was good the first and second time. I remember a little debate up in this bitch about Hector vs. Achilles. I'd fuck them both. At the same time. That is all.
Paris reminded me of Upham from Saving Private Ryan. The little fuck-up who is a chicken shit and turns to eveyone else for help. He should have got his ass up and faced Menalous. Also, I missed the beginning of the movie the first time I saw it and saw it the second time, and although I cannot put my finger on what it was, I started cracking up. It was ebmarrassing for me and those around me. I have this thing where I will start laughing uncontrollably at something, and the fact that I cant stop, makes me laugh harder. Anywho, back to Troy. I think it was good, but could have been better. Reminded me of Gladiator a bit.

Flight of the Navigator, anyone?
There was a movie about some kid in a wheelchair and some alien came to live with him, and they went to McDonald's for a kid's birthday party. MAC AND ME! Anyone see this gem?
Also, Cloak and Dagger was a good one from the past. The woman with the white glove was missing two fingers and at my tender age, the image of that woman's gnarly hand haunted my sleepy time thoughts.

this aint no stinking movie, mang, but did anyone have to watch Voyage of the Mimi when they were younger? we had to watch it for class in 5th grade. It fucking blew, but I would go back now and watch it just to see the humble beginnings of Ben Affleck.

I was thinking about creating this thread, and then there it was. That's happened about 5 or 6 times now. We all think very similarly here. Get out of my head. I was in Blockbuster last week and you guys inspired my renting binge. I hadn't seen Office Space or Boondock Saints in years, so I started with those. A little violence, then a little humor to cleanse the pallet. Then I remembered Ella quoting Donnie Darko all the time, so I rented that. I finished off with The Last Waltz and Requiem For a Dream. I didn't think Requiem was so much depressing as it was disturbing. It made me want to be a drug counselor. Jared Leto has come a far way from "My So Called Life." And the pole up the ass thing...well that was just crazy. Flight of the Navigator, anyone? I gave this movie an honorable mention in the cheesy movies thread. You are a day late and a dollar short on this one, my friend. It's worth the mentioning! I would like to see this movie today to see if it lives up to my kid memory. I remember that one too. Didn't the kid have a video game or something that a threatening cloak wearing man wanted?

I haven't laughed so hard in quite a while. dude, did you wet your pants when Gary Cole came on screen as Cotton McKnight? perfect casting! the whole audience applauded when Lance Armstrong went: "I endured brain, lung and testicular cancer...and went on to win 5 tour de frances. but I'm sure YOU have a good reason for quitting."

No, Silly! That was Dungeons and Dragons!
Yes, that was it. That woman's hand was fah-reaky! I hated it. I requested that my gramma fast forward through that part, or, if the other cousins were there, I would be watching, watching, watching...sudden cough attack at the very moment her mangled hand is revealed. We also had to watch weird ass movies at my gramma and grampa's like American Dreamer and Hester Street. Spending the summer with gramparents blows.
I am unable to quote partial posts with the little title 'Blee Blah Blee said this at Bleep Blop Bloop.' I suck. It just says plainly 'Quote:' but you get the idea, and we all know it is from Sonshine, because she just said it.

I am only able to quote one person per post with their name attached, as I have not yet decoded that board secret.
I just watched the infamous scene from Say Anything on FX. Just once I want someone to stand outside my window with a boombox and blare In Your Eyes for me. That or Freak a Leek.
