Actually, I fucking hate that song.
Was wondering what everyone's plans are for the summer? where ya workin? anyone going anywhere cool?
I am continuing to do meaningless temp assignments, perhaps doing the barista/waitress thing at night, and going nowhere special. maybe to Ocean City, MD for a weekend here and there, but that is definitely nothing special. I am going to Toronto for a weekend in September for a weekend...woo fuckin hoo.
I definitely would like to go hiking at some point, in some non-scary national parks, get my bike fixed and have it shipped here so I can finally ride it around the city, and I want to go to a water park, but have no idea where one is around here. also, my goal is to get more sun this summer seeing as I got none whatsoever last summer, but safely instead of doing the "go balls out" strategy I tried a couple summers ago (*see "pain" thread).

Other than heading to the Jersey shore on the weekends, I am sad to say I have no vacation planned for this summer.  I would love to go away somewhere, but all my friends are either strapped for cash or are to busy to do anything this year. I am contemplating going myself to lay on a beach somewhere..I really need to get away. |

Every weekend I will be going home to my family and friends every weekend.
I have work now, and that consumes me. It is a temp thing, so after my two months are up, I am Audi 5000 and school will be starting about a week and a half after my last day, so I will work until it is time to start the learning up again. I will be going to a lot of football games this fall. I am very excited about that. But, that is Fall Luvin' and you are talking about Summer Luvin'. I have no love for summer. I am in hell. It gets to be well over 100 degrees here, so the only thing there really is to do is be hot.
I am going to Savannah next weekend. It is bound to be nice. Real nice, Clark.

Jamaica, in 2 weeks.. whoooooo i hate you. if you are going to go to Jamaica, PLEASE don't waste it drunk. I really hate people who spend money on exotic trips and spend the whole trip drunk. I want a sober perspective when you get back, Sweater! Also, I think you should wear your Kool-Aid shirt and see what the natives think of it. |

1277 for EVERYTHING, hotel, air, food, drinks, entertainment. nice nice....
while free drinks are included, I do not plan on being drunk, a bit tipsy at times, yes, drunk, no.
hair will be braided, skin will be tan, I will be happy....

Jacqui, you are going to have a great time. All- inclusive kicks ass, doesn't it? The "internet cafe" wasn't included on my cruise however, and charged a hefty dollar per minute to be online. Sorry, but I wouldn't log on unless I had 5 minutes to live and that was my only communication to my parents. Even then, I'm thinking a letter would be appropriate.
Have a coconut drink on the beach for me while they're braiding your hair. P.S. Don't leave them in for longer than 4 or 5 days because your hair will come out. I'm not kidding. Take it from me. I'm bald except for 3 tiny braids jutting out from my head.

haha-- that sucks about the internet cafe...
seriously i have never been anywhere besides fla, i went to italy when i was younger but barely remember it so i dont count it. All i remember is hitting the old italian lady who sat in front of me on the plane.
i cannot waaaaaaaaaait!!!!!!!
