Small children don't like to be talked to as equals. They like it when I speak condescendingly to them.
Yesterday I was talking to a 6-year old girl. I started off being condescending, that's how I am, and she was smiling and having a good time. I thought, "Maybe she'll leave me alone if I start to talk to her about what is actually on my mind, as though she is an equal!" I proceeded as planned, and found that it could not possibly be more effective. Not only was I amused with her sudden confusion, but she just walked away. Little kids love me, too much.
Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike little kids, but I just wanted this specific one to go away. This new tactic will serve as my child repellent.

I took my braids out today, and now look like sideshow bob. either that or a girl in 1987 who decided that crimping her hair was the way to go... (i did that)

Your dog seems indifferent to your new 'do. Either that, or he just had to look away from your Cyndi Lauper head. I know how you feel though. I only had the top of mine braided and when I took it out, a little bit of my hair came out with it. My friends who had their whole heads done, and kept it in longer said that a lot of their hair came out. How the hell do these island people have any hair?

I'm glad I was able to bring this to the board before El Mariachi was.
