I dont like getting all up in the political shiz-nat, but I will say that you can get the purple heart for having a rough cold during wartime, so Kerry's three purple hearts dont impress me much. Doesnt impress Mrs. Twain either.
Also, I like Bush AND Tom DeLonge. The irony...

I just saw it. I thought it was an awesome movie. I think his opinions are very accurate. I'm not going to state my feelings or anything because I don't care that much. But the movie was great!

ok, maybe saved his platoon got him the bronze star since that is for valor. But, the purple heart is awarded to most everyone. You catch half a centimeter of shrapnel in your pinky and you are up for a purple heart. Granted, its great he was all up in the shit, but saying he got three purple hearts isnt saying much. He could have twisted his ankle walking or run into a tree and got the purple heart. Some folks dont even accept it, because with it comes a letter to your family saying you were wounded in the line of duty, and people dont want to worry their family, so they just say 'no thanks.' I dont want it to seem I am downplaying the purple heart, but it just isnt what alot of people think it to be.

Kerry was actually wounded twice in his arm and once in his thigh. I don't think that's anything to laugh at. And most of us probably wouldn't have the balls to do half of what this guy did in Nam. Well, Bush didn't.
What is it that you like about Bush exactly? Is it the blatant lying to the American people about the reason for going to war in Iraq, and the complete lack of caring for the military and their families, the complete lack of foreign policy experience, or maybe it's the nepotism that is so appealing?
