is anyone watching this documentary on HBO about this woman who adopted 11 special-needs kids? It's so sad. One girl has no legs, and one girl was severely burned and disfigured as a baby, and then there's this one kid who's angry and violent and has the mouth of a 30 year-old prison inmate. It's fucking insane.

He got pissed at his sisters for no reason at all, and goes "one of these days I'm gonna come home and chop all their necks off."

LTrain....I was watching that too!!! My heart was breaking for all of them! The kid with EB (I think that was what it was called)....him sitting in the bathtub - so much suffering! I actually did think of you and the "One Arm Girl" when I was watching it. I felt so bad for that boy (Joe). And then to see he died during the taping just broke my heart! I would have loved to know his story (why he didn't live with his natural parents and that they had, like, 8 other kids which didn't live with them either). Anyway, I saw it and was touched. BTW - did you see last month on HBO called, "A Boy's Life"? F'ed up....

I love documentaries. I wonder when they will air it again.

I'm also really sick of hearing people's excuses for why the hell they can't raise their fucking kids, or how the system is failing them. there's a really easy way to not become a single mom or have your kids taken away from you by the state: make your boyfriend wear a fucking condom. say it with me, kids! How difficult is it to NOT have 5 kids before you're 23 years old? I don't have any. Because I've never had sex where I wasn't eiher using a condom or on the Pill. Why is it that so many people still can't figure this little secret out? RRRR!!!

The only documentary I watched on HBO was when Ben Affleck played the roid-raging teenage.
I laughed. Hard. He was young, testosterony, and pimply.
Must be a huge regret in his career.

EB is epidermolysis bullosa - that's what that one kid had - the Mom was helping him in the tub. It's the most severe form of the rare skin disease, which weakens the body's deepest tissue and can cause blistering and bruising at the slightest touch. (I only know this cause I looked it up online as I was watching). God, it makes me feel like shit when I complain I have a headache or something insignificant...
