Ok, I just remembered that a lot of you guys are still banned. Sorry. First link. Subject: his show not getting picked upBushido: I read about this in Dane's "News" section. I'm surprised that he's so happy considering his top priority failed. If that were me I'd be inconsolable for a few weeks. Hopefully everything else that he has going on does better. Dane: I have had several "top priorities" that I have kept secret. And even though it didn't make the air (at this point) I don't consider that failure. The amount of prep and work that went into it plus the killer staff and cool co-worker/actors made this show something that for the rest of my life I will tell people I am proud of fully. It was more fun than being drunk at summer camp. The fact of the matter is people are wanting reality shows now and 1 hours so it may not have been time to do it. Whatever the reason I always look at Dave Chapelle and realize that he did 11 pilots before his went. In fact something huge has been in the works for months now and any day you will all hear about it. PLUS we be makin' some changes to www.DANECOOK.com in the VERY near future. .......... but it's not fully operational. hehe Second link. Subject: his appearance on the Carson Daly showBushido: Carson is a huge tool. I was actually disappointed when I found out Dane was going to be on his show. Leno to Carson is like going from the Major Leagues to the Minor Leagues. Dane: Actually Carson Daly beats out Leno and Letterman in the 18 to 25 demographic. So although it may not be the cream of the crop in late night its a huge show to do if you want to reach that audience. And if you saw the amount of emails I've gotten since it aired you would agree. I think we should all go on under pseudonyms on other computers and leave insidious little insults for him. so he either has to respond to all of us or ban us all, but either way, he looks like a tool and he knows that people hate him.
also, his comebacks fucking suck. i cant even discern what he's fucking talking about. he responds to someone saying Carson Daly sucks? wow, what a fun place to be. Let's all conform and think the same thing. what a giant tool.
even sadder when you realize the man is 32 YEARS OLD!!! and he speaks this way.

He does that stand up routine about being too old to rock. He says he was at a concert once and the security gaurd said, "Excuse me, sir. I'm going to have to take that chain wallet from you."
"Why, because it might be used as a weapon?"
"No, because you're 32-years-old."
(I swear to God, I think he actually said 32, which is ironic give our situation.)
He also talks about the "Adult Rock Concert" which starts at 7:00, is only an hour with no opening band ("I don't need to see you struggle through your career"), and consists of only the band's hits.
Basically, Dane is this Greg Behrendt character.
