Greatest moments from THE LAST WALTZ: 1) Richard Manuel, when speaking about women on the road getting older, saying, "I just wanna break even." 2) Levon Helm screaming, "You know I sure wish I could yodle!" on Up On Cripple Creek. 3) Neil Young coming out on stage blown out of his mind, proclaiming the night to be one of the best of his life. 4) Van Morrison shouting "one more time!" during Caravan's finale and then walking off stage before the song was over. 5) Clapton's guitar strap slipping off and Robbie Robertson picking up the solo in rhythm. 6) Ringo Starr, Ron Wood and Stephen Stills as spectators to the concert, eventually going on stage to play. 7) Muddy Waters 8) Bob Dylan not giving a fuck. And the Baby Let Me Follow You Down reprise.
Greatest moments from THE LAST HALF HOUR: 1) Listening to The Soft Bulletin

4) Van Morrison shouting "one more time!" during Caravan's finale and then walking off stage before the song was over. That was so funny I could have peed on my shoes in the woods. I was like, did he go to get a drink? Is he coming back? Who does that? They just looked over and kept going. That was great.

Everybody on stage was like, "How are we going to end this?" And it just puttered out.

I really like African/Tribal/Native chanting music. There is really only drums and (usually peaceful and calm) chanting. I enjoy the chanting of Fiji a great deal. Am I black?

my turn to get ragged on.
I keep listening to 2 songs off this STP album that came out a few years ago: Sour Girl and Atlanta. Scott Weiland sounds very Jim Morrison on Atlanta. It's not the greatest album, but I love those 2 songs.
also, at work, I've been listening to LaunchRadio. I customized my station to play only the bands or similar bands that I want, and its kicking ass. Today the station surprised me with a little Plush by STP, which I haven't heard in years, and a live Stairway to Heaven, and a lil Bad Company "feel like makin love." I love telling radio stations what to do. Money.

I think I've been reliving early high school too. Lately I can't seem to get enough of Soundgarden's "Black Days." If I knew guitar, I would love to bust that out. God, I really miss the days when Chris Cornell and Billy Corgan were actually good. And Zack de la Rocha was part of RATM. Why do good bands have to break up and go start crappy new ones?

And Zack de la Rocha was part of RATM. Why do good bands have to break up and go start crappy new ones? He moved on to do the Predator movies. I feel you on the 90 REAL rock El...bring back Spoonman!!

Come together with your hands.
ATTENTION: Take the nearest $14.00, even if it's not your own, and purchase Badley Drawn Boy's One Plus One is One.
If you don't, fuck you. We're not friends.

If anyone wants to see my 'half-dollar,' just play Glycerine by Bush. I dont care if it is cliche and mainstream and I dont know what any of it means, but its just lovely! Also, This Love by the Cocteau Twins...that song is pure sexual bliss, I tell you.
I also believe that everybody needs to know it's the year of the rat.
Not really, its the monkey.
I like Nilsson as well. He makes music pretty in my ears...
(I prefer to continue modifying things in lieu of having the 'dreaded quadruple post')

Yesterday I saw live and in concert WILLIE NELSON and BOB DYLAN.
I blew load after load in my pants during Bob's set.
His band is top shelf.
